Lance and Linna came down from Portland for their spring Redlands engagement session! I had the weekend off for my birthday and Linna asked if they could squeeze in an engagement session. Antoine and I were headed directly to a Saint Patrick’s Day get together after. The timing worked out perfectly.

We had been in contact throughout the day and some Los Angeles traffic almost derailed the entire plan. I offered to reschedule while they were still in California but Linna had gone all out. Hair, makeup, and a pretty dress. Linna had recently found a love/hate relationship with crossfit. I was not prepared for the pair of buff calves that greeted me once we got out of the car!

We got a little lost trying to find the exact spot. A perfect hiking trail off the side of the road that they once got lost on . We all hiked down and got the last little bit of the beautiful golden light. Antoine had himself a nice little hike while we got down to business. And by business I mean that Lance and Linna and I frolicked in the unusually green hills around us. That year was very rainy and that meant a lot of green open spaces, green hills and tall green grasses for this spring Redlands engagement session.

This is still one of my favorite engagement sessions. Not only does it included two of my favorite people, but their style, tattoos, and the pretty light coming over those green hills as we laughed our way through this perfect session.

Actually you might love the wedding more because it was insane and still one of my favorite weddings I have ever witnessed. Plus did I mention it was in front of a WATERFALL?!
