Redlands Engagement Huntington Beach Wedding California Wedding Photographer

Blake is an old friend and just one of the greatest guys and I met Lexi the day of our Redlands summer engagement and of course immediately adored her. The only word I could think of to describe her personality and smile is effervescent. I could definitely see why Blake knew he would marry her by the second date! To say I am downright giddy and so honored to be their photographer is an understatement.

We got off to a little bit of a late start when Blake went to the wrong Starbucks (I was laughing so hard) but it worked out perfectly. We got to the little hiking trail and hiked our way down. Since the day was overcast the sunset turned into blue hour and it gave us the richest colors and perfect temperature to adventure in.

As you’ll see, Blake and Lexi are constantly laughing and genuinely enjoy being in each other’s presence. There was even a moment where Blake said “touch the hiney” but with a Russian accent. When I prompted Lexi to tell Blake the reason why she wanted to marry him, she told him it was for his tempur pedic bed. Since couples who laugh together and are downright silly are a favorite of mine, this session is now near and dear to my heart!

We made it back to my car after dark and once back to their car, we stood there and talked until 10 o’clock at night. Getting to know Lexi, to see and experience her joy and warmth…I knew without a doubt my friend Blake had found one of the most loviest ladies, inside and out, to call his bride.
