A Pier That Meant So Much

For A&K, their Seal Beach winter engagement brought them right back to where they had so many special memories in their relationship. We chatted about locations that felt the most “them” and immediately the pier at Seal Beach came to mind. They showed me the exact spot A had proposed and even did a silly reenactment for me and told me about some of the fun times they’d had in their years together.

A&K rarely seem to have a serious moment together. They laughed, giggled, joked around, and chanted “awkward panda!” the entire time.

I’ll be completely honest that is exactly what I want out of an engagement session. Every photographer has their own style and approach to how they photograph a couple. For me, I’m all about giving you space to be your wonderful selves. Be awkward. Be silly. Be quiet or loud or over the top. Just be your authentic selves and trust me to guide you along the way. You worry about how it feels and I’ll worry about how it looks. My goal is that your engagement session is an experience…an adventure. Pretty pictures are just the icing on top.
