Joseph and Danielle
A fun wedding in Los Angeles, California for Danielle and Joseph in collaboration with Black Tie Media.
Danielle and Joseph found me through their friend and a former client of mine, Frisco with Black Tie Media. As a team we met up early and then headed over to the hotel. As soon as I met Danielle, I know the day was going to be a party. She was so laid back and fun even in the midst of getting glammed up for her wedding day. From her shiny wedding boots to her beautiful purple eye shadow, she already had such style and edge to her. I knew I’d loved the whole look of the day.
An added little adventure to the day was that there was a protest going on outside the hotel. When we asked the concierge about where to take photos, she advised us of the closed street, police cars, and increased security. So we improvised and it was AMAZING. The emotional and giddy first look happened in a beautifully lit elevator corridor. The bridal party photos went down in an executive room. We had a blast finding all the beautiful little spots that made the day go perfectly despite the gathering outside. The crowd caught of glimpse of the oh so stylish bride and groom. It was amazing because they all started to cheer for them. I can’t imagine that any couple has ever had a few thousand people cheering for them the way that Joseph and Danielle were cheered for on that street!
The jewish ceremony was performed by the funniest Rabbi (who said he’s also a stage actor). The venue continued with the edgy, vintage vibe with white everything and bright purple uplighting. I just kept thinking of prom 1999. We snuck away and continued to find little nooks for photos. My favorite is a mirror lined hallway where we loudly and aggressively cheered on Joseph until he gave his bride a proper kiss! They finished off the night with some of the best dance moves in the history of all dance moves.
I hope you enjoy this edgy Los Angeles wedding as much as I did.
