This country Redlands engagement is pretty special! I’ve known Kristi for years and have photographed most of her family at some point. We’ve kept in touch over social media and when Taylor proposed, she already knew I was the photographer for her. Before we worked with my availability and the venue’s to find them a date, we started on the engagement session plans.

When she told me that Taylor was a real cowboy and their wedding would be country themed at Hidden Valley Golf Club, I knew just the secret spot to take them for their country Redlands engagement session. They didn’t disappoint, with Taylor in his cowboy that and belt buckle and Kristi rocking a sexy romper, turquoise jewelry, and colorful sleeve tattoos. It doesn’t surprise me at all that Kristi is kind of a badass female and has the awesome style to go with her awesome personality.

The autumn sun showed up in all it’s golden glory as we hiked our way out until we found golden hills I was aiming for to frolic in. Coyotes and hawks showed up off in the distance as we played in the tall, prickly grass. Thankfully both of them wore cowboy boots and all of the dancing and tromping through nature was an easy feat for these two!

Taylor is a riot and likes to make fun of Kristi. I don’t know about you but I love a relationship that has a good bit of humor in it where you can make fun of each other and make each other laugh. When Kristi told me that her family loves him because he teases her so much, I knew it to be the truth. Her entire family has left me crying from laughter more than once during a session. In fact, I took a picture of her pregnant sister in law pretending to punch her husband in the stomach. Not to mention a picture of her entire family and her brother’s in laws peeking out behind pine trees in the forest and playing baseball with pine cones.

Check out this other golden engagement session!
