This Avensole Winery spring wedding was so special in so many ways! I had met this beautiful bride when I did her brother’s wedding in Oregon many, many years ago at the most epic waterfall wedding. She had followed me ever since I had done her brother’s engagement and when the time came to plan her wedding I was her only choice for a wedding photographer. To say that’s a compliment wouldn’t begin to cover it.
C & L met when L was about ready to give up on dating and joined a dating app as a last ditch effort. C joined after being peer pressured by friends and family to give it a try. It worked because they instantly connected.
We took advantage of the beauty of winery but when I caught sight of an empty lot that was alive with yellow wildflowers/weeds. When I brought it up L immediately was all in. She said her brother told her I would somehow find some wild piece of nature to put them in and she had been looking forward to it this entire time! This made me unbelievably happy to say the least.
Planning a California wedding out of state they wanted something that felt truly like home. I love that because California is known for having so much to offer from beaches to mountains to the desert to redwoods and wineries. It’s really an embarrassment of riches as far as natural beauty is concerned. Temecula is overflowing with incredible wineries and an Avensole Winery spring wedding was an easy choice.
I don’t know if anything can feel more fresh and new for the season of spring like a soft safe and peach color scheme and wild florals under a clear blue sky.
