A fun summer engagement in Forest Falls! We actually met at another wedding in Temecula, California where she was the hairstylist and with her spiciness and hilarious sense of humor, we hit it off immediately. Tammy is the genius who tames my wild, Irish gypsy hair and I’ve been going to her ever since so she can help me look less of a hot mess.

Tammy met Doug after we became friends, and I got to hear about them falling in love and much later when they had their baby girl together. Then I got to hear about Doug proposing! Having the baby early and surviving the first year with a newborn put the planning on hold. When she started planning her wedding and inquired with me, I told her I would fight anyone else who tried to be her photographer.

That’s not the first or last time I responded to a friend’s inquiry just like that.

We met for our consultation and toyed with the idea of a nature engagement session. Since they have such an amazing look, I knew that it would be a special session. Tammy wanted a contrasting look, with their style and tattoos so we went with one of my favorites. A Forest Falls engagement!

I KNEW deep down in my bones that Doug and Tammy would have insane chemistry during their summer engagement in Forest Falls.  A lot of my sessions are fun and have a ton of movement, but for these two I knew we needed that fire. They’re always so put together and gorgeous even when they aren’t trying…and when they do try…DANG!  Some couples are goofy, some are serious, some are romantic…these two are straight FIRE and I dare you to tell me otherwise.
