What a fun winter Forest Falls engagement! When a mountain bride meets her future husband on a mountain and they find a mountain girl photographer…we go to the mountains for the engagement session!
Kaylee found me through her mom, Tracey. Since Tracey had met me before and knew my work (and work ethic), she enthusiastically recommended me. I sent her my website for Kaylee to check out my work and we immediately scheduled a consultation.
When I met with Kaylee and her mom, she started telling me about this wedding at a venue with fire sculptures. What?! Fire sculptures?? You read that right! The owner of the venue was an artist who had a passion for making art that used fire in beautiful and unusual ways. I was immediately intrigued! I love when couples decide to have a wedding that fits who they are. Doogie and Kaylee are free spirits who loved the artistic aspects of the venue.
These two are super duper cute and so obviously in love. Their tenderness and adoration is almost palpable. I’m pretty sure they didn’t realize I was there the entire time! Doogie definitely never took his eyes (or his hands) off his future bride for one second.
As we adventured around for their winter Forest Falls engagement, Doogie told me how they met. Kaylee had moved to Big Bear to find herself. Doogie moved to Big Bear for a change of scenery. One day he walked into a popular local breakfast spot, and a beautiful girl walked out from the back and smiled at him. With that one captivating smile Doogie fell in love with Kaylee immediately. She was it for him from that moment on.
I hope you enjoy their winter Forest Falls, Ca engagement session. Check out their artistic Fire Garden wedding in Bonsall, Ca here!
