We’re back at one of my favorite venues on the planet with this spring Oak Glen wedding at The Homestead at Wilshire Ranch! This wedding venue in Oak Glen never fails to delight with the sweetest rustic elegance, overflowing garden, and mountainside reception views. There is such a magic to this place that makes every wedding I’ve photographed there so special and unique that never fails create once in a lifetime memories for my incredible couples. Mark and Brianna wanted a less nature inspired engagement and the historic architecture of downtown Riverside seemed to be the perfect background for us. We balanced it out with wrapping it up at Fairmount Park. Both of these spots are incredibly busy so we planned their engagement at sunrise Downtown Riverside sunrise engagement which brought the added benefit of avoiding the Southern California summer heat.

These two have personalities that compliment and celebrate each other with Brianna being the planner and Mark being the go with the flow kind of guy. They met in their teaching credential program and some flirting led to a baseball game first date. Brianna immediately felt like she had known Mark her entire life and that she could be herself around him. Mark knew she was special early on when he’d lost his first football game as head coach. Brianna drove out during rush hour to meet him for dinner. It was that consideration that made him feel important and cared for.

The weather was perfect for their spring Oak Glen wedding at the Homestead at Wilshire Ranch. Even with their first look, the reveal of Brianna as she walked up the aisle was a beautifully emotional moment as well as the special wedding lasso included in the ceremony and the mother daughter dance. The reception kicked off the right way with a group shot taken with all of their friends and family at the bar. By the end of the night Mark got out on the dance floor, and he pointed at me and told me it was for the awesome photo op.
