I love the emphasis on genuine and candid moments for this intimate Silver Pines Lodge Idyllwild spring wedding. When A & V inquired they were drawn to the authentic way I approach weddings. V isn’t a fan of having her photo taken and they’re both far more interested in a lifestyle/documentary style. As a photographer that HATES staging, faking, or overly posing anything on a wedding day…give me all the real moments pretty please.
After a ceremony at the beautiful Queen of Angels Catholic Church, A & V lead the walk back to Silver Pines Lodge with all of the friends and family trailing behind.

V’s family had a long history with Idyllwild and her parents even got married up there. Her parents didn’t have tables and everyone sat on blankets so A & V used the wedding blanket at the tablecloth of their sweetheart table. To showcase the natural beauty and their love of Idyllwild, the colors of the manzanita and pinecones were included on every table. V also had knit every single guest a beanie which came in handy as the spring fog rolled in!

I hope you love the small details captured between people at this Silver Pines Lodge Idyllwild spring wedding the way A & V do! I’m a sucker for the authentic in the moment pictures that aren’t staged or faked.
