A St Patrick’s Day Fairytale
All the Irish magic and charm for this South Hills Country Club spring wedding. T and M wanted a wedding with all the romance and fairytale vibes with a strong influence of the celebration of St Patrick’s Day. M told me that they were looking like for a photographer who had a magical element. M loved the attention to detail on my website and could tell how much I cared about the memories I captured. She told me that I don’t treat it like a normal job (and she was so right!)
You Worry About How It Feels And I Will Worry About How It Looks.
We immediately set up an outdoorsy engagement session for these country music lovers. M also had a love for photography and we spent a lot of time chatting about their desire to be in the moment on their wedding day, fully experiencing everything instead of staging or faking anything for a photo. This is music to my lifestyle/candid loving photographer ears.
If I could shout it from the rooftops and fight any guest or videographer or family member that tries to rob my couple of fully being present by telling them to stage or fake anything…well I would. Soak in that memory while it is being made. You worry about how it feels and I will worry about how it looks.

A Quick Frolic For Photos Before Joining Cocktail Hour
T and M first met on her 21st birthday at a country music bar. They were both pretty tipsy, and T asked M to dance and apparently she told him no (but doesn’t remember it). Since this bar was well known for line dancing I knew they’d break out their dance moves when that dance floor opened up! After an emotional ceremony at their church, we went back to South Hills Country Club for their reception. I knew that joining their cocktail hour to be with their people was super important to them so we made magic happen in a short timeframe. Another hill I will die on…if you want to join your cocktail hour I will fight to make it happen. Your wedding is YOURS and you deserve to enjoy it.

All in all, T and M had a day that was truly about the celebration of their union at their South Hills Country Club spring wedding. Everyone was able to get caught up in the magic of it all like a fairytale book! The mix of traditional but a touch of whimsical and classy mixed with a touch of fantasy came together in the most romantic way. You could tell how loved they were and how much they loved every single person who surrounded them.
