This month I had a run of some of my favorite engagements of my career and this Oak Glen winter Engagement was at the top of the list! It might be because a small group of deer kept following us around like we were Disney princesses and I’m obsessed with deer.
When T & M reached out to me, M told me how much of a priority photography was to her. She’d always had an interest in photography herself and loved to take pictures with her camera. They wanted their photos and the experience taking photos to feel as natural and in the moment as possible. She was drawn to how my work clearly shows that I capture the authenticity of each couple. They looked so natural, fun, and effortless.
They’re both nature lovers so we settled on a state park for their Oak Glen winter engagement. As we walked in a chatted about their love for photography, I told them about all the wildlife I’ve seen at this state park. Bobcats, mountain lions, and deer oh my! Almost as soon as we started taking photos, a small group of deer wandered in and became enthralled by our presence (and the feeling was mutual). Without disturbing our new audience, we counted their interest as a good sign.

T & M at a bar known for line dancing when she was celebrating her 21st birthday. T asked her to dance and M didn’t know how to so she told him no! They both claim they each made the first move and have never come to an agreement. They might spend the rest of their lives debating it! Whoever made the first move it led to a first date and forever.
M has the sweetest personality and the biggest heart and there is something in her beautiful smile that is a glimpse of her beautiful heart. During our Oak Glen winter engagement and all throughout their wedding, I was struck by her genuine interest and care for the people in her life. T was a steadfast, confident presence who loves to have fun. During their wedding I saw how deeply loyal and loving he was with M and his own family. These two love their people deeply and you can tell.
If you love these two and their Oak Glen winter engagement head over to their St Patricks Day wedding at South Hills Country Club.
