All the floral garden vibes for this Los Angeles Arboretum spring engagement! G &M wanted a spring engagement to match their spring wedding and the idea of a garden really appealed to them. I sent them galleries of botanical gardens I’ve used before with the disclaimer of possibly being too early or too late for anything blooming because who knows if California weather will cooperate. That disclaimer also included the weather because even in sunny Southern California, spring can be tricky. It turns out that neither warning was necessary because OH MY GOODNESS spring delivered beyond my wildest dreams.
The Enchanted Rose Garden
Now if you know me, I’m obsessed with flowers. Just look at my website, my tattoos, and almost anything I wear. I was meant to frolic in a field of wildflowers in a fancy dress (in a world were I don’t need all the allergy medicine and sunscreen and bug spray) and I’ve built my entire business around that energy. G & M had the same vision and leveled it up with Disney prince and princess vibes. When I sent this gallery to a friend of mine she told me she kept hearing Taylor Swift’s Enchanted in her head as she looked at each image…which is just so fitting.
G & M started off as friends but there seemed to be a special connection between them even then. Even hanging out as a group, they would tend to gravitate towards each other. At some point, they both finally realized this and some light flirting and hints started taking place until it became too obvious to ignore!
With that solid foundation of friendship, G & M have a quiet tenderness between them. They laugh as easily as they can be quiet and still together. I get the impression that no matter where they are, as long as they’re together they’re home.
