A Day Of Joy
This Black and Gold Club spring wedding is one of the most JOYOUS weddings I’ve experienced in my life…and as a Southern California wedding photographer who has done this for fifteen years, I’ve been to A LOT of weddings!
The Colors Of Spring At The Black and Gold Club
In keeping with the vibe of F & D’s laughter filled and cuddly engagement session in Yucaipa a few months before, the day of their wedding arrived with the most beautiful overcast skies. While you’d think that gloomy weather would make for a gloomy day, the exact opposite proves to be true for these two. With the benefit of even lighting, the colors and contrast deepen and we have freedom to roam. After winter and spring rains the greens and yellows brought the most beautiful vibrancy to The Black and Gold Club’s grounds. D had told me during their engagement session that her wish is that the wild mustard would be blooming behind the ceremony area and it delivered!!

F & D met through church and work and became friends. That built their foundation and eventually friendship turned into interest. They both love to laugh and are constantly cracking jokes. F told me one of the benefits of making each other laugh is that D’s smile still hits him every single time. Her smile is everything and the adorable dimples don’t hurt.

While F & D wanted an elegant and romantic feel for their Black and Gold Club spring wedding, they knew that they wanted the focus on their people. They both have servant hearts and love to pour into their families and church family. Every single person they invited was significant and we wanted to put priority on who they were surrounded by.
