Just the cutest of cuties with this summer engagement in Crestline. C & S have known each other since kindergarten but reconnected in college. Seven years later and C proposed with a ring he custom designed just for her. C is the outdoorsy, adventurous one while S is the artistic free spirit. Together they’ve gone on adventures locally and around the world.
Lake Gregory was an easy choice for these two nature lovers. With summer being a huge tourist season on the mountain we met up at the crack of dawn to avoid the heat and the crowds looking to avoid the heat. I’ve never done a sunrise session at this location and was giddily surprised at the soft light and pristine reflections across the lake. It was all just beyond my wildest dreams.
Besides being just the most adorable humans ever, these two have such a palpable joy in being together. The sense of play is contagious and the blatant adoration in the way they look at each other is the stuff of movies. Just a small example is that later in their year at their Wilson Creek Winery wedding we walked in the vineyards after the sun had set. I stopped them and said “hey guys…you got MARRIED!!!” and C picked S up and twirled her around laughing giddily that they were finally husband and wife.
