Aaron and Emily
Aaron and Emily’s 2016 summer Crestmore Manor wedding in Riverside! This was the first time I’ve been to this stunning venue. The grounds give a feeling that you normally wouldn’t get in Riverside. It’s open with the most beautiful trees and a large pond…not to mention the beautiful, historic manor!
As I arrived, Aaron was busy helping to get everything set up and Emily was getting her makeup done. I snuck around to get pictures of the venue and dress before the first look. Once it was time to get Emily into her dress I let Aaron know to get into place. We did the first look in the front of the stunning manor. One of the fun things about a first look is that it seems to alleviate the stress and gives you a sense of calm. This wasn’t a highly emotional first look but it was one that brought an immediate sense of peace. Aaron saw his bride and gave her the soft smile he only has for her.
The ceremony was behind the manor by the water fountain. My favorite part was the giant smile on Emily’s face as she saw Aaron on her way up the aisle. The backdrop for the ceremony were photos from their engagement session and their life together. There was a fun paint ceremony where they poured different colored paint over the initial of their last name. The wind tried to derail the painting but it was saved just in time! It was all so beautiful and sweet.
The open grounds and light streaming through the trees provided such an amazing backdrop for the romantic photos after the ceremony. It’s so hard to believe this beautiful, quiet venue is in the middle of Riverside! It feels like it’s caught in another time entirely.
The reception was in the carriage house in the back and was kicked off with a tender first dance. The father daughter dance was emotional and touching.
If you loved Aaron and Emily’s summer Crestmore wedding then you’ll love their engagement session!
